Data You Give Us Directly
Name Search Fields
The on-page search form asks for first name, last name, and state. Submitting it places those values in the query string when the browser opens the local report-builder page. That page displays the entered name and state and creates a referral link to TruthFinder’s tracking domain, including those values. If you choose a report button, the browser sends them to that third-party service. The builder does not perform a live Hancock court or warrant search.
Messages
These pages do not provide a contact form or a published private-site email address. Do not send sensitive information to a government office as if it were the website operator; contact the appropriate official office only for its records and services.
Data We Gather Automatically
Web requests normally include technical information such as an IP address, browser and device details, requested page, referring page, and timestamp. Whether and how long the hosting provider retains access logs depends on its service configuration, which is not visible in the page code.
- The requested page and query string, which may include the search fields described above
- Standard connection details handled by the web host and browser
- Requests to Google Fonts, which provide typography for the pages
Cookies and Analytics
The page scripts inspected for this build do not set a first-party cookie or run a first-party analytics tracker. Your browser and hosting provider may handle other technical storage or logs under their own configuration. Google Fonts is loaded from Google’s servers, so the browser makes a request to that provider when a page uses the font service.
What We Do With This Data
The local search code uses the name and state to open the report-builder page. If a report link is followed, the named affiliate destination receives the referral parameters described above. No local court lookup or warrant-status result is produced by that flow.
No Warrant Data on File
This site does not host or maintain Hancock County warrant files or a county active-warrant database. It publishes office contacts and general procedures. Tennessee’s TBI public criminal-history service is a separate product and is not a live warrant search. A query entered in the report-builder should not be treated as an official status check.
Third-Party Search Partners
The report-builder’s referral link goes to TruthFinder through tracking.truthfinder.com and includes first name, last name, state, and referral campaign parameters. The third party controls what happens after that request and any later report purchase. Read its current privacy notice and terms before proceeding; this site cannot state its retention, sharing, or deletion practices.
Links to Other Websites
Government pages, court directories, Google Fonts, and third-party report destinations operate under their own privacy practices. Check the address bar and their policies before entering personal details. A link to a public court or agency page does not mean that office endorses this site.
Who Might See Your Data
Data may be handled by the services involved in the visitor’s choices:
- The website host through normal page and query-string requests
- Google when the browser requests hosted fonts
- TruthFinder’s tracking domain if a visitor chooses a report-builder button
How We Protect Your Data
The source code does not expose the hosting provider’s security or retention configuration, so this policy does not make a promise about log protection or deletion timing. Use a device and connection you trust, and avoid placing private information into a public web form or URL.
Users Under 18
The warrant reference and report links are intended for adults. A parent or guardian should supervise any use by a minor. No local form is provided for sending a deletion request, and this site cannot remove information held by a third-party provider.
Your Data Rights
This private website does not claim that Tennessee’s public-records law creates a general consumer privacy process for this site. The Tennessee Public Records Act governs qualifying government records, not the website operator’s own private systems. The pages do not provide an account, profile, or local tool for requesting a copy, correction, or deletion. For the report service, direct such questions to the provider under its current policy.
Updates to This Policy
We may revise this policy when the visible data flow changes or the description needs correction. The revised text and date will appear here.
